Gender equality in Montenegro

Gender Montenegro is a UNDP programme which aims to advance gender equality agenda in line with international frameworks (EU & UN), and development priorities of the country. Key partner of the programme is the Ministry for Human and Minority Rights - Department for Gender Equality, while there is also cross-institutional partnerships with CSOs and the Parliament.

Topics and talks on gender equality in Montenegro are becoming more and more frequent. The country sets itself on a road to globalization and accession to the EU which brings programmes such as Gender Montenegro to be of vital importance for improving women’s status in society. Digital and accessible platform in form of website is needed to send spread out information and reach as many people as possible online.

Our team created a website that is simple and easy to navigate, in Joomla CMS. We focused on making the website with minimalistic design and now visitors can easily find information about women’s activities in politics, entrepreneurship, anti-discrimination, etc.
